The media lawyer Andrés Ojeda wants to build his space in the Colorado Party. “I want to be the protagonist of what is to come”, said to VTV News when he was consulted about a possible candidacy in the Ciudadanos sector.
He assessed that Ernesto Talvi’s withdrawal from politics was significant for the party, so “it has to arrive in the best possible way” at the next elections.
The lawyer stated that his current priority is the salary of the police officers. But, when asked, he did not hesitate to express his intention: “I want to be the protagonist of party reconstruction.” He added that he intends to be “on the front line fighting for the party to return to the place it deserves”.
Ojeda’s performance as a lawyer for the police union was positively valued among Colorado leaders. The deputy of Ciudadanos, Martín Melazzi had expressed his support for the lawyer: “I would love for him to have some chance within the party,” he said, according to La Diaria.
