The Ministry of Economy launched “EconAr, from Argentina to the World”, a knowledge economy fair which seeks to publicize the potential of knowledge-based services focused on federal development, technological innovation and new job opportunities in the sector.
It will bring together leading companies in technological innovation and young talent focused on the future of employment.
The fair
The Knowledge Economy Fair will take place in La Rural between March 17 and 19with free admission from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The event will feature workshops and searches, among multiple activities, to spread the potential of a strategic sector in the development of Argentina.
Companies, entrepreneurs and software, bio and nanotechnology, aerospace and satellite, video games and audiovisual startups will participate in the event, among other areas that complete the proposal.
The Secretary of Knowledge Economy, Ariel Sujarchuk, highlighted that this is the first time that a fair of these characteristics will be held in the country, and commented that “the objective is to disseminate all the potential and virtues of a key sector for the strategic development of Argentina”.
Along these lines, he explained that “changes in the productive matrix, technological innovation and new employment opportunities will be the central axes of this great event that will unite the work and talent of all our people.”

As for the thematic axes of this first edition, will revolve around technology, quality and innovation; gender perspective, diversity and inclusion; employment and education; and social and environmental sustainability.
He also highlighted that “EconAr is an opportunity to make visible the potential of the Knowledge Economy, Argentine talent and local productive development by disseminating technological innovations that are produced at the federal level.”
“Through high professional development and a present State that supports free education and training initiatives to achieve a quality job future, the fair will function as vehicle to advance in the deepening of public policies integral innovation, science and technology to build a better future for Argentines and Argentines”, he concluded.
