All categories are so close that the leaders need to win to secure their throne. It’s all or nothing in the last race of the Autódromo Panamá motor racing season, scheduled for October 5 and 6, always with that seal of an international event, on a track designed with the highest standards of safety and comfort, it was announced this Tuesday at a press conference, where Jag was also presented.
This weekend will be unforgettable, with music and qualifying on Saturday and a grid at its maximum capacity on Sunday, with the best national and regional drivers and cars racing on this circuit, located in Capira, lower Campana.
We will also be joined by Jag, a jaguar who will be born in Panama in 2024 with the opening of the Autódromo Panamá track. Jag, the mascot, dreams of being a driver, is passionate about motorsports and his lucky number is 51.
Regarding the camp, in the ST3 category, Obeb Barrios and Roberto Sosa, first and second in the scoreboard, are separated by only 14 points; while in third place there are two drivers tied with 72 points.
The ST4 category presents almost the same scenario, Alexis Vanegas and Antonio Díaz, in that order, have only six points difference and the third place, Pablo Sánchez, has 52 points, a victory could make him champion.
In the TCR category, the situation is also in the red zone, with Luis Ramírez and Carlos Herrera separated by six points and Mario Bárcenas, although third, could take the honours.
In the GTA category, Marco Vento has 80 points, while Valentino Mini/Elias Chocron have 74 and Sebastian Merchan, 60 points.
