Before the systematic, malicious, brazen and unpunished violation of the rules on the revocation of the mandate, the result of next Sunday could be annulled by the Electoral Court of the Judicial Power of the Federation (TEPJF), warned the president of the National Electoral Institute (INE), Lorenzo Córdova, who advanced that this The agency will send a detailed report of what happened during the process.

In a joint press conference with the councilors, he reported that the INE has the 57,517 voting booths ready for just over 92 million voters to attend on Sunday, and recalled that the TEPJF must validate the results of the exercise and the conditions in which they are carried out. made.

Hopefully the irresponsibility of the political actors, who systematically, repeatedly, maliciously, openly and blatantly violate the law, does not result in the higher court annulling the process. Let’s hope it doesn’t happen, because eventually it would mean the worst sanction for a democratic process; what we will do is provide you with all the elements of irregular conducthe exposed.

– Are they intimidated?

-We are worried. They just saw it; they want to intimidate us but they will not succeed; It is not the first time that the National Electoral Institute has been intimidated.

On the eve of the day, the 11 councilors closed ranks and harshened criticism of the behavior of public officials. Jaime Rivera asserted that “there are worrying facts, I would say ominous, about this process (…) that have darkened the atmosphere. The most worrying thing is that these offending behaviors are becoming more open, repeated and challenging, and such a challenge, sometimes even brazenly, is not only to the INE, but is open to the law and the Constitution”.

His counterpart Uuc-kib Espadas stated: we have accepted the conditions that have been imposed from powerI weighed to sabotage undertaken by the Chamber of Deputies and the Ministry of Finance, for which the INE will deliver a full process this Sunday. We are talking about an abuse of institutional capacities to make them enter spaces where they should not, and that the power of one or another group appropriates things that they should not.

He stated that he will wait a minimum exercise of self-containment of power so as not to go over the lawbut there has been a river of calumnies against the advisers. We have been told everything, that we are not democrats, that we are participants in the fraud and we collect from the oligarchy, without any attempt to support them with judicial evidence, not even with human evidence.,

Claudia Zavala underlined: what is worrying here is the number of issues (complaints) that we have had, but above all, the stubborn attitude of public servants to comply with the constitutional duty. In these five months, 172 complaints were filed (25 of them for alleged diversion of public resources) an average of 34 per month, compared to the 29 that occurred in the federal elections, Córdova said, due to the large number of litigations.

We have experienced a revocation process where the constitutional rules of non-governmental intervention have been violated in a systematic and stubborn manner, unfortunately. It is a political process intervened by the government; With this alteration of the rules, the democratic consensus embodied in the Constitution is being fractured from powerexposed Ciro Murayama.

The INE reported that it will only have installation problems in the Chiapas municipality of Frontera Comalapa, due to community conflicts.
