Carlos Hurtado, Headquarters Epidemiology Manager, once encouraged the population to get vaccinated against Covid-19, and stated that this is not the time to celebrate, because the disease is not controlled in Santa Cruz. He referred to the uncontrolled activity in bowling alleys, bars, karaoke bars and jukeboxes in the city, where people take off their masks, do not keep the physical distance required to avoid contagion and do not disinfect their hands.
