The Supreme Court ruling

During the government of former President Mauricio Macri, the co-participation value received by CABA rose from 1.4% to 3.5%. Then in 2020, already in the government of Alberto Fernández, it was decided to decrease said value. For this action, the head of government of CABA, Rodríguez Larreta, launched two complaints against the Nation.

The Supreme Court of Justice took sides in the cases and ruled that the amount received for co-participation from CABA be increased again to 2.95% (compared to the 3.5% requested by Rodríguez Larreta). Finally, the Fernández government complied with the court order and decided to pay the amount requested through the use of TX31 bonds.
