The Ministry of Domestic Trade announced this Friday the renewal of the Care Cuts program, which includes the seven most popular cuts of meat at reference prices below market prices, while noting that meetings with the dairy sector continue to agree on a new basket of products in the category.
The negotiations were carried out by Martin Pollerathe official appointed by the Minister of Economy, Silvina Batakis, at the head of that portfolio, replacing Alejandor Hang.
In the case of the Patagonia region -where boneless cuts are sold- the values must add a differential of 6%.
The new prices
The secretariat specified in a statement that, after working meetings held by the secretary with the Association of United Supermarkets (ASU) and with the directors of the consortium of ABC meat exporters, the following prices per kilo were agreed until August 7 : Strip roast, 9; Empty, 5; Matambre, 9; Skirt, 8; Roast Lid, 9; buttock, 9; and Palette, 9.
These cuts are available from Monday to Friday in more than 1,000 outlets throughout the country that correspond to retail supermarket chains, wholesalers and butcher shops affiliated with the Unica, ABC and Fifra business chambers.
“In this way, The national government guarantees the continuity of this program to take care of the purchasing power of the workers, guaranteeing the supply of the agreed cuts“, stressed the Ministry of Domestic Trade.
Regarding the dairy sector, Pollera held a working meeting this Friday with directors of the main companies in the sector to agree on a basket with the most representative products of the sector.

“It was a fruitful meeting in which the entrepreneurs presented their proposals to reduce the price gap between the products of the basket and those that are outside of it, taking into account the increases in production costs in recent months“, they pointed out in Internal Trade.
In this way, the Renewal of the Care Cuts program adds to the continuity of Care Priceswhich took place the day before and will run until October 7 with an offer of 949 products representative of the average consumption of Argentines in various items and categories.
Prices Care is available every day of the week in retail supermarket chains throughout the country such as Jumbo, Vea, Disco, Changomás, Coto, Carrefour, Día, Josimar, La Anónima, Libertad, Cooperativa Obrera, Super Santiago, Himisa Supermarket, Beltran, Blü, Borbotti, El Solar, El Zorzón, Único, El Abastecedor and Alfa.
In addition, the national government also renewed on Thursday the fruit and vegetable basket that is available in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA), every day, in the Día, Walmart, Changomas, Jumbo, Vea, Disco, Coto supermarkets. , Carrefour and Makro.
