The government presented a package of measures for producers affected by the agricultural emergency

The Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries implemented two lines of support through the Agricultural Emergency Fund, for all those producers who have been affected by the current climate situation, in turn exacerbated by the La Niña phenomenon and climate change.

The beneficiaries will be the affected producers of the items livestock, dairy and beekeeping included in the emergency that meet the following requirements:

  1. Soft Credit Line through República Microfinanzas

Access to the subsidy in the interest rate and flexible repayment conditions.

The following are the conditions and requirements by item:

Livestock and / or Dairy Producers:

  • Being within the area declared in agricultural emergency according to the DICOSE police section (according to current resolution).
  • Be up to date in the Family Producer Registry or that the total physical surface of its production is up to 500 CONEAT 100 hectares.
  • Have the current DICOSE sworn statement.
  • Be up to date in their obligations with MGAP.

Credit conditions

Livestock Producers:

  • Rate: 4% in Dollars; 10% in Uruguayan Pesos

Amortization:

  • 11/20/22: payment of interest,
  • 11/20/23: payment of 40% capital plus interest,
  • 11/20/24: 60% capital plus interest

Dairy Producers:

  • Rate: 4% in Dollars; 10% in Uruguayan Pesos

Amortization:

  • Pesos: 18 monthly installments, first due 07/20/22.
  • Dollars: Fixed term of 180 days.

Beekeeping Producers:

  • Have apiaries declared in the area declared in agricultural emergency (according to current resolution).
  • Have a current registration (as of 09/30/2021) in the National Registry of Beehive Owners (SINATPA) (current Sworn Statement).
  • Be up to date with your obligations with MGAP.

Credit Conditions

  • Rate: 10% in Uruguayan Pesos

Amortization:

03/20/23: 30% capital plus interest

03/21/24: 70% capital plus interest

Postulation

two. Improvement of cutwaters, delivery of ration and other support, through the MGAP – Municipalities Agreement

Through the aforementioned agreement, support will be received in the assembly, recomposition and cleaning of cutwaters, in the delivery of rations, materials or any other form of help that the departmental government can provide.

  • Support: It consists of a non-reimbursable subsidy of 75% of the cost of the project, which must be carried out within the framework of the agreement signed between MGAP and the Departmental Administration. It implies the signing of a contract between MGAP and the producer.

Requirements:

Livestock and / or Dairy Producers:

  • They must be within the zone declared in agricultural emergency according to the police section of DICOSE (according to current resolution).
  • Be included in the Family Producer Registry or that the total physical surface of its production is up to 500 CONEAT 100 hectares.
  • Have the current DICOSE sworn statement.
  • Be up to date with your obligations with MGAP.

Beekeeping Producers:

  • Have apiaries declared in the area under agricultural emergency (according to current resolution).
  • Have a current registration (as of 09/30/2021) in the National Registry of Beehive Owners (SINATPA) (current Sworn Statement).
  • Be up to date with your obligations with MGAP.

Postulation
