The German parcel company DHL confirmed that it will begin its transfer from the Mexico City International Airport (AICM) to the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA), after the new provision of the Mexican government, which orders the closure of cargo operations in the terminal capital.

DHL announced that it will inaugurate its new headquarters with a flight on February 28.

In his decree published in the Official Journal of the Federation Last Thursday, the federal government gave a period of 108 business days (156 calendar days) for the transfer of operations of cargo transportation airlines.

DHL explained a day later that it has a plan to transfer flights from the AICM to the AIFA and that it plans to increase operational capacity, due to a large investment in the country, it also has more security and state-of-the-art technology equipment. generation.
