The Foreign Ministry announced that it is carrying out the pertinent steps to find the Chilean journalist, Gonzalo Lira López, missing in Ukraine.
Lira’s last location was in the city of Kharkiv in Ukraine, in the middle of this month.

During this Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that it was in contact with the different authorities of the country to find out the whereabouts of the journalist.
“Through the General Consular Directorate and its Missions in Poland and Moscow, it is carrying out all possible steps to determine the location and health conditions of the Chilean Gonzalo Lira López, with whom contact has been lost in Ukraine,” they declared from the Foreign Ministry.
They also added that they will keep the family informed about it.
