The Bolivarian National Amada Force (Fanb) undertook an operation to locate criminal groups settled in the Valles de Aragua and the Cordillera de la Costa. Such an announcement was made by General Domingo Hernandez Larezhead of the Strategic Operational Command of the Fanb (Ceofanb) through his account on the twitter network, after 9 pm last Tuesday.
This deployment is carried out a day and a half after being the headquarters of the Bolivarian National Police were attackedmunicipal police and Cicpc based in Las Tejerías (Aragua).
They presume that the perpetrators of this criminal action are members of the band founded by Carlos Rodríguezalias El Conejo, who used long weapons and explosive devices.
“Teams of Special Forces begin operations to search and sweep the Coastal Range and Valles de Aragua, in tasks of legal intervention against armed criminal groups that disturb the calm and peace of the population,” Hernández Lárez wrote.
The publication of the head of Ceofanb was accompanied by four photographs where a group of soldiers can be seen entering a helicopter, others collecting cartridges in a kind of camp, as well as traveling through a large mountainous area.
They suspect that after the attack last Sunday on the Las Tejerías police posts, the criminals fled towards that mountainous corridor of Aragua and Miranda that borders part of the downtown regional highway and the Pan-American highway.
