The Emergency Operation Center coordinates actions in the face of storm Julia

The country’s security forces meet at the Emergency Operations Center (COE) to coordinate actions due to the passage of tropical storm Julia.

Governors of the provinces where a yellow alert has been decreed, due to the indirect effects of Julia in the Caribbean, also participated in this meeting.

On the other hand, strong waves are expected in the Panamanian Caribbean, which is why Sinaproc recommended bathers not to enter the sea until the authorities indicate so. He also recommended avoiding crossing rivers or streams.
