The electoral ban for elections of the Realizando Metas party begins Thursday at midnight

The Electoral Tribunal reminds the members of the Realizando Metas (RM) party who are campaigning for their primary elections on Sunday, July 2, 2023, that they have until 11:59 p.m. this Thursday, June 29 to proselytize. political, and that from 12:01 am on Friday the 30th begins the period of reflection and, therefore, the electoral ban.

The dissemination of electoral propaganda, paid or donated, in favor of or against citizens or parties, as well as caravans and concentrations, is prohibited. They must refrain from handing out promotional items, sponsoring events in which the party’s name is used, and advertising in conventional and digital media.

Article 256 of the Electoral Code states that this prohibition includes billboards, so they must be removed at the expiration of the respective campaign period, by the party, the responsible pre-candidate or the company hired for advertising.

In case of non-compliance, the respective Regional Directorate of Electoral Organization (DROE) will proceed with its removal, confiscation and corresponding sanctions.
