In a recent column, the British magazine The Economist referred to the President of the Republic, peter castle. The international media described the head of state What “an accidental president, without political experience and without aptitudes for the position”.
Also, reference was made to the constant changes in the ministerial cabinet and criticized that, during the 14 months of management, the president Castle is “appointed 72 ministers”.
“The last one, appointed on September 23, was his fourth defense minister this year. Five of them were censured by Congress. Many others were unqualified or involved in scandals ranging from corruption allegations to wife-beating.”, reads the newspaper article.
At another point, the British media mentions the tax investigations in which the head of stateas well as the arrest of his sister-in-law Yenifer Paredes and about Fray Vásquez, who has been a fugitive from justice since March of this year.

However, The Economist does not only refer to the Government of Peter Castle. He also does it with Legislative power. In the article, he notes the two failed vacancy attempts against Castillo Terrones.
“Congress, whose 130 members represent some 16 parties or groups, has seen two attempts to remove the president fail. (…). More than 40 belong to nominally left-wing parties. Some conservatives are happy to have a weak government that shares their interest in unregulating private universities and informal transport companies, or in opposing feminism, “they added.
In addition, they mentioned the political crisis that Peru has been experiencing for the past five years because, during that period, there has been four leaders and two parliaments. “The degradation of Peruvian politics is extreme (…) the instability of Peru is surprisingly stable”, states the magazine.
Finally, they state that the vacancy motion of the congressman Edward Malaga against Castillo will not solve the crisis facing the country.
“Mr. Málaga is right that the president is harming the country. The problem is that his removal will not necessarily end the damage or volatility”, he points out The Economist.
