The dollar in Colombia closes the week of February 13 to 17, 2023 with falls, but remains above the 4,900 pesos.

The currency opened the day on Friday at 4,950 pesos and, for now, does not register values higher than the 4,966.33, the Representative Market Rate (TRM) of the day.
Until now, the maximum value that the currency has had has been 4,963.60 and the minimum, 4,911 pesos.

Other values at which the currency has been traded during the day have been 4,928.15, 4,934.38, 4,936.25 and 4,938.88 pesos.
At 10:15 am, the average trading price was 4,935.34 pesos, 30.99 pesos less than the TRM of the day.

Arnoldo Casas, investment director of Credicorp Capital, He said that the price of oil below US$80 is influencing the price of the dollar in the country in recent days.
He also considered that it influences the social and political situation with the reforms that the Government is presenting. In addition, he considered that inflation, and forecasts that it will continue to be high, are impacting the exchange market.
