The Corales Championship PGA TOUR 2022 ends

120 amateur players and 80 professional players participated in the traditional Pro-Am tournament – ​​a competition between professional and amateur athletes-, held within the framework of the fifth edition of the Corales Puntacana Championship PGA TOUR Event, prior to the professional event to be held on the course from Golf Corales de Puntacana Resort & Club during this week.

The competition had 40 teams, each made up of three amateur players and, in some teams, accompanied by one or two professional players, who had the first start at 6:45 am The second group left at 11:45 am

The first prize went to the team led by the professional duo of Brandon Hagy and Peter Uihlein and, for the first time, an all-female team (Cindy Grinder, Micky Lodder and Anne Purcell) won the coveted prize.

Second place was won by the team headed by professional golfers Camilo Villegas and Tyler Duncan along with the amateur trio made up of Víctor Benítez, Fernando Villanueva and José M. Mella. Meanwhile, third place was awarded to the team of professional golfer Patrick Rogers, who accompanied the trio made up of Bob Kheel, Adam Kheel and David Kheel.

The activity concluded with the award ceremony and raffle delivery carried out by the executives of Grupo Puntacana, among them Mrs. Paola Rainieri de Díaz, Chief Marketing Officer; Francesca Rainieri, Chief Financial Officer; and Hiram Silfa, director of Campos de Golf.

The Coral Kings in Pro-Am

The baptized Kings of Corals: Joel Dahmen (2021), Hudson Swafford (2020), Graeme McDowell (2019), Brice Garnett (2018) also elevated the Pro-AM tournament with their participation as a warm-up prior to the Corales Puntacana Championship.
