This Friday the Congress of the new era with the social movements began in the Poliedro de Caracas.
The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodriguezwas present at the event and stressed that this Congress also begins the hour of unity and love of the country, as well as Venezuelan entrepreneurship.
“We are in the times of entrepreneurs and workers, of sexual diversity, of the movement for peace and life, of the communes, of the missions, of the health movement, of transportation, of returning to the homeland and of the students,” he said.
In the same way, he recalled that social movements have been part of the economic recovery. “The blockade affected the Venezuelan people as a whole and we must continue looking for alternatives to improve the economy,” he said.
“We have to continue studying the coercive measures that have affected us and that do not allow progress in the Bolivarian process,” he said.
Rebirth of social movements
Héctor Rodríguez, governor of the state of Miranda and head of Congress, stressed that this activity gives way to the rebirth of social movements as requested by the president, Nicolás Maduro.
«Today we have summoned the call of the president who has had a permanent call for social movements to mobilize. This is the result of the previous congresses and we have mobilized from the towns, the cities, the communities today we begin a new stage and we set our sights towards 2030″, he said.
He stressed that work will be carried out with a methodology that emphasizes the contexts, “even if we get on the road full of obstacles, but today we are called by the unity and leadership of the historical project of Bolívar and Chávez, that is why this debate begins for dialogue society,” said the governor.
