After several hours of meeting at the headquarters of the labor union, located at Azopardo 802 in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Monserrat, one of the triumvirs of the CGT, Héctor Daer, announced at a press conference that “the labor movement declares itself on alert, permanent session” and He called a new meeting for next Monday at 4:00 p.m. to “re-analyze the situation.”

At the press conference, Daer also asked the Justice for “speed and responsibility” so that it is investigated “in depth” and the material responsible is determined and what “is behind this fact.”

In a message to the entire political leadership and the owners of the media, the trade unionist urged to “end the methodology system of accusations that are made against political and social actors in our country. Those who say it, repeat it and amplify it have a lot to do with that”.
Likewise, Daer recalled that this Friday several unions mobilized to Plaza de Mayo “in repudiation of violence” and “in defense of democracy”.
For its part, the CTA -headed by Yasky- had called for an “active national strike with mobilization” for this Monday and presented this proposal at the meeting that took place in the CGT, to “articulate common action”, but it did not prosper. .
Before entering the meeting, the co-secretary general of the CGT and deputy secretary of Truckers, Pablo Moyano, said he was “convinced that this has awakened Peronism throughout the country” since “various attacks have been carried out against the vice president for months. Cristina (Fernández), from the press groups and from judicial sectors; but this last night has already surpassed everything.
