Álvaro Lemmon, known in the world of humor as ‘The Alligator Man’continues to generate controversy on social networks due to a video that went viral days ago in which he was seen selling backpacks through the streets of the city of Santa Marta.

Many were surprised that a character who spent many years on Colombian television in the program ‘Happy Saturdays’, and that in addition to that, he performed private comedy shows, he had to do other economic activities on the street to support his home.
This generated controversy to the point that some of his former classmates ‘Happy Saturdays’, spoke out and revealed that Lemmon had a pension of 4.5 million. He replied that due to debts and other discounts he only received 1.8 million pesos, money that he confessed is not enough to live comfortably.

In a dialogue with the person who recorded the video and made it go viral, Lemmon stated that he sold backpacks, cups and DVDs in shopping malls.
In addition, the content generator assured that the video was real and “it was not a performance”, as many in networks pointed out.
Now in a new video, ‘El Hombre Caymán’, he contradicts his statements and affirms that “he does not sell backpacks” that is “pure straw” (lies).
“People come up to me and buy my DVD, I don’t sell backpacks,” the 75-year-old comedian says at the beginning of this video.
Seeing these new statements, his followers ask him to tell the truth about his situation, whether or not he sells mchilas and whether or not he is going through a difficult economic situation.
