MIAMI, United States. – This Wednesday the channel AmericaTeVé revealed images of a private party held in 2018 and in which relatives of Fidel and Raúl Castro appear, as well as the dictator Miguel Díaz-Canel and his wife, Lis Cuesta Peraza.
According to the note signed by the Cuban journalist Mario J. Pentón, the “images traveled through Central America and sneaked into the US through the southern border, in the wave of immigrants unleashed by hunger and Castro’s repression.”
“Whoever dared to filter them wants the Cuban people to see how their leaders live, those same ones who constantly ask the people for sacrifices,” said Pentón.
Specifically, the recording corresponds to the party held after the wedding of one of the youngest daughters of the late Commander Juan Almeida Bosque, one of the men closest to the Castro leadership.
According to AméricaTeVé, the family of Juan Almeida Bosque inherited a mansion with “a large swimming pool very close to the Punto Cero complex, where dictator Fidel Castro lived.”
“In 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, the Almeidas built new buildings on their land, including a recording studio,” the Pentón report also specifies.
Berta González Hernández appears in the recording, the last of the wives of Commander Juan Almeida and mother of Juan Guillermo.
You can also see the wife of one of the singers, Laura Fariñas, and her little daughter.
In addition, the dictator Miguel Díaz-Canel, his wife Lis Cuest Peraza and his stepson Manuel Anido Cuesta appear dancing. Likewise, you can see Antonio Castro, one of the sons of Fidel Castro and Dalia Soto del Valle; and Raúl Guillermo Rodríguez, the grandson and bodyguard of Raúl Castro known as El Cangrejo.
