The bus ticket in Rosario increases 22% and will cost $85 starting Monday

The Municipality of Rosario announced that next Monday a new value of the urban bus ticket will come into force, which will cost 85 pesos per trip, despite which it assured that the update will be “30% below the last study of costs”.

the new rate represents an increase of 22% compared to the $69.5 pesos that are in force at present and it is the third rise of the passage in the year.

According to the latest cost study carried out by the Rosario Mobility Entity, the price of the ticket should be $121.73, that is, 77% more than the current rate.

In this sense, the municipality highlighted that “so far in 2022, fuel has increased by approximately 105%, tires 84.06%, lubricants 64.4% and wage increases amount to 50% in the same period”, which have an impact on the urban passenger transport service.

The rate update will also reach from Monday tol public bicycle system denominated in Rosario “My bike your bike”, which will cost $103.68 per day.

The increases were announced after a meeting held today between the cities of Rosario, Córdoba and Santa Fein which it was defined to apply the update of the called the “federal rate” that had been agreed and put on hold at the end of August since, “during September there were no news of greater arrival of national subsidies,” official sources indicated.
