On Wednesday morning, authorities from the Ministry of Transport and representatives of the passenger motor transport chambers met to seek a solution to the situation caused by the delay in the payment of subsidies.
The companies claim compensation owed for 18,000 million pesos and warn that the value of the ticket without subsidy should be located at 150 pesos.
Government sources told Télam that “it was a dialogue with good predisposition on both sides” and that they are looking for “the necessary tools so that the service can be guaranteed to the user and they do not encounter inconveniences”.
However, from the business sector they declared that there was no agreement with the Government and confirmed that the delays in services will continue: “The conflict is not unraveled, both parties agree to continue talking,” said Mario Vacca, of the Business Chamber of the Urban Transport (Cetuba).
