The comptroller of the Federal Intelligence Agency (AFI), Agustín Rossi, affirmed that the sentence of the Federal Oral Court (TOF) 2 that sentenced Cristina Fernández to 6 years in prison and disqualification from holding public office for fraudulent administration it is “a far-fetched ruling”, and considered that what really happened is that “the attempt to factually proscribe the Vice President was consummated”.
“The ruling is not firm. We have to wait for the fundamentals, although we expected something of these characteristics. The truth is that a ruling was pulled from the hair. Regardless of the fact that the ruling is not firm, what was consummated is the attempted factual proscription of the Vice President,” Rossi said in statements to Nacional Rock.

Meanwhile, the official indicated that Cristina Kirchner’s decision not to be a candidate surprised him and that it is due to “not wanting to burden her political space with her candidacy” so that it is not said that “she is trying to save herself from jail.”
