The artist and LGBTIQ+ activist Calenna Garba will offer free concerts

The artist, composer and LGBTIQ+ activist Calenna Garba will offer free light contemporary music concerts this Saturday and Thursday, February 24, at 7:00 p.m., at the “Emilio Alfaro” Theater Café of the Mar del Plata Auditorium Theater.

On this occasion, the artist will perform songs of her own, such as “Niño triste”, “Mar de sueño”, “My name is Juana”, “Eterno fugaz”, “In the eternity of the frozen instant” and “Silent nostalgia”, among others, in addition to the premiere of the song “Yo Sofía”.

In said concert Garba will be accompanied by the musicians Mauro Romero on bass and Federico Tarquini on guitar.

Artist, non-binary LGBTIQ+ activist, Garba is self-taught and a renowned composer, conductor, pianist and cultural promoter.

His music has been premiered in different big cities around the world and he won several awards for his artistic work. She has been named Outstanding Personality of Culture in the City of Buenos Aires, the provinces of Santa Fe and Córdoba, as well as Montevideo and Mar del Plata.
