The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) announced today that starting next April some social programs will receive an increase in their monthly salaries. This is due to the 45% increase in the Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salary announced by the Government last week.
This increase, which will be paid in four installments throughout the year 2022, will not impact all social plans of the ANSES; that is, benefits such as the Universal Child Allowance (AUH), Family Allowance per Child (AFH) and Pregnancy Allowance (AUE), will maintain the amount set by the pension entity.
Those who will receive the increase from next month will be: the plan Empower Work 2022, the Accompanying Program of the ANSESthe Unemployment Fund, the Progresar Scholarships and the Social Rate.
What will the new amounts be?
In the case of those who receive the Empower Work program, the administration directed by Fernanda Raverta reported that the new amount to accrue in April will be $19,470, but it will be paid from May 1. In addition, they will receive an extra bonus of $6,000 as part of the “Go back to study” program.
In addition, the monthly benefit of the Accompanying Program of the ANSES will now go to $38,940, the equivalent of a minimum wage in the country. Let us remember that this benefit is intended to support people from the LGBTIQ+ community in situations of gender violence.
The unemployment subsidy to be paid from next month was set at two amounts: the minimum of $9,167 per month and the maximum of $15,278 per month. This will vary according to the time worked by the beneficiary and the contributions that he has issued to the Social Security System in the last two years.
For its part, the base amount set for the Progresar Scholarships was $6,400 and the ceiling was $10,700. Let us remember that this subsidy is received by students of different educational levels whose family income does not exceed three minimum wages ($116,820 in April.
From the month of April, the Social Rate for Argentine families will be established at $77,880which represents two monthly minimum wages with the 18% increase agreed by the Government.
