The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will announce in the next few hours that reached a new agreement with the Argentine government compared to the goals of the fourth quarter of last year of the program that the country has with that organization for the debt of US$ 45,000 million contracted by the administration of Cambiemos.
“The output of the report at the level of technical personnel of the Fund, in which the agreement is determined, is imminent,” Economy sources indicated to Télam.
They also pointed out that the approval of the fourth review of the program’s goals “enables the disbursement of US$5.2 billion and changes the reserve goal” currency of the Central Bank.
Anyway, final approval will arrive next week when the IMF board meets to validate the agreement at a technical level that will be known during the day.
