The Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) resumed fiscal executions with the usual procedures for debtors included in the large and medium risk categories, after nineteen months of being suspended due to the pandemic.
AFIP sources reported that before reaching the execution instance, the taxpayers were intimidated and notified “repeatedly.”
Before proceeding with the formal process of the executions, the administrative process determines that first the taxpayers receive an injunction, then a payment slip with the debt so that they can cancel it and finally the embargo, the sources explained.
The AFIP does not carry out preventive seizures of any kind nor does it take sectoral measures, but rather processes that are carried out in relation to CUIT with liquid and payable debts previously notified.
The platform used by this body for the implementation of this type of proceedings is called “Judicial Officials System” (SOJ), it is for this reason that said acronym can be seen mentioned in the procedure.
