Textile-clothing exports grew 32.1% in the first two months

Exports of the textile-apparel chain totaled US$285.5 million in the first two months of the year, reflecting an increase of 32.1% compared to the same period in 2021, the highest figure in recent years in that period, reported the (ADEX).

Likewise, he advised continuing to work on market diversification, especially focusing on destinations in the region, since many of them are prioritizing closer suppliers instead of those from other continents due to the current logistics crisis.

On the other hand, Vallebuona highlighted the importance of this industry precisely because it is one of the industries that generates the most employment, since in the first two months of the year they achieved a stock of 61,764 jobs, the fourth most intensive after agribusiness, traditional agriculture and mining.
