Data from the São Paulo State Board of Trade (Jucesp) show the opening, on average, of ten new bars and restaurants per day in the state. Between August 2021 and March 2022, São Paulo recorded a balance of 2,573 new bars and restaurants, an average of 10.7 establishments created in the sector per day.
According to the state government, vaccination against covid-19 and control of the pandemic in São Paulo reinforced the positive conditions for economic recovery in the trade and services sector.
“The health system points to a controlled scenario of the pandemic in São Paulo, which is another decisive aspect for the accelerated economic recovery. The statewide rate of hospital bed occupancy by patients with covid-19 across the state is below 20%, both in ICUs (Intensive Care Units) and in wards,” the government said in a statement.
According to the last vaccination balance in SP, released yesterday (28), 108.7 million doses had been applied: 93.52% of the population had received the initial dose and 86.83%, two doses.
