Teenager dies by immersion in Caraballeda

This Monday, officials from the La Guaira State Police found the body of a teenager who had disappeared last Saturday afternoon, on Los Cocos beach (Caraballeda).

The minor came from the Petare parish, Miranda state and was identified as Manuel Martínez (17), who came with his mother and family and when he submerged on Los Cocos beach he was killed by immersion.

For three days the security and guard forces of La Guaira maintained the search work on the coast of the Guaireño coast.

The body was found on the pier in Caraballeda Bay, where officials from the La Guaira Marine Fire Department, Coast Guard, regional police and the PNB Aquatic Spaces Division arrived.
