The Sector Vice President of Public Works and Services, G/J Nestor Reverolinformed that technical, operational and security efforts are currently being deepened in all the facilities of the National Electric System (SEN).
From the Antonio José de Sucre Hydroelectric Power Plant in Macagua, located in Bolívar state, the also Minister of Popular Power for Electric Energy expressed: “We continue for the fourth consecutive day with the National Plan of Inspections and Comprehensive Maintenance of the SEN, by instructions of our President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro”.
He specified that the operating and technical systems of Powerhouses I, II and III were verified to guarantee continuity in power generation.
Together with the workers, the minister evaluated general services such as a dining room, medical care and the workplace.
Finally, he recalled that the Antonio José de Sucre Hydroelectric Power Plant is the first built in the so-called Bajo Caroní.
