The fast cars established as a vaccination center in the Emilio Royo stadium, in the Irving Saladino sports city and the Rod Carew National Stadium, on the Centenario road, as well as in the Mega Mall in East Panama will work until noon on Thursday 14; that on Friday the 15th they will be closed.
The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported that on Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th the swab centers in the aforementioned places will work during regular hours from 7 a.m. at 2 p.m.
As for the vaccination against Covid-19, they assured that it will be extended until tomorrow, Wednesday, on the occasion of Holy Week. The day includes application of the third dose and booster dose from the age of 16 on circuits 2-1 Penonomé, Coclé; 4-1 David, Chiriqui; 6-3 Las Minas, Ocú, Santa María in Herrera; 8-7 and 8-8 in Panama Center and 9-2 La Mesa, Las Palmas Soná in Veraguas.
In their epidemiological report they reported that for today there was one death from COVID-19 and 371 new positive cases. One (1) death is reported for the last 24 hours for a cumulative of 8,178 and a lethality of 1.1%. In total, there are 767,438 accumulated cases of Covid-19.
There are 757,024 recovered people, of which 220 were added as newly recovered. 6,785 tests were applied for a positivity of 5.5%.
There are 2,236 active cases throughout the country, of which 2,151 are in home isolation and 85 hospitalized. Those in isolation are divided into 2,139 at home and 12 in hotels. Those hospitalized are 77 in the Ward and 8 in the ICU.
