A subject was arrested in the Trapichito sector, Guarenas (Miranda) and will be prosecuted for illicit possession of ammunitionaccording to military sources.
The man is identified as Manuel Alejandro Zumosa Rincón, who had 22 9 mm caliber cartridges hidden in his clothing.
The procedure was carried out by troops attached to the Citizen Security Detachment (Desur) of the Bolivarian National Guard, according to reports.
Also in Guarenas, but in the La Guairita sector, Desur troops seized three tear gas devices, hidden in a bag belonging to Julio Rondón Flores, a member of the Manuelito criminal group.
The detainee was handed over to the Public Ministry for prosecution for illegal possession of war material.
