Veronica JE is a young student who fears for his lifeafter her alleged attacker, Brenda Anco, was released by order of the judge of the 4th Preparatory Investigation Court of Paucarpata sub-specialized in Crimes Associated with Violence against Women, Johanna Lozano Rosado.
The Relatives of the young woman indicated that the alleged attacker together with Luis Felipe Arce disfigured her face by cutting him in the face with a bottle spout last week.
Judge Johanna Lozano Rosado upheld her resolution of restricted appearance release based on the work and family roots presented by the accused.
The Prosecutor’s Office requested 9 months of preventive detention and appealed the judge’s decision. “The people who attacked me don’t live near my house and that’s where it all happened, I can’t even walk safely,” said the victim.
The other aggressor, Luis Felipe Arce, ex-partner of the young woman is not there. The student’s relatives claimed that Veronica was walking down the street with two friends when Luis and Brenda attacked her.
