The Solidarity party formalized today (6th) its support for Fernando Haddad (PT), candidate for the government of the state of São Paulo. The announcement was made by the party’s president, Paulinho da Força, at an event in São Paulo. Haddad thanked the cooperation and highlighted the partisan alliance in favor of his candidacy.
“We made an unprecedented alliance, never imagined seven parties united in the first round, and we are now expanding this alliance in the second round with those we wanted to be with us since the first”, said the candidate.
Before the event with Solidarity, Haddad participated, during the morning, alongside Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, candidate for the presidency of the PT, in a walk in São Bernardo do Campo, in the Greater ABC region. The candidate highlighted the importance of the region in the state election.
“I disputed the first round in the capital [em 2012] and I arrived behind José Serra. AND [no segundo turno] you elected me mayor of the capital. We have three weeks to win with me here in São Paulo and with Lula in the federal government. For this we need São Bernardo, ABC, São Paulo and the entire countryside. Let’s go to fight. We are going to win this election,” he stated.
