Soledad Núñez, former Senavitat minister, during the government of Horacio Cartes, will officially present her candidacy during the course of Wednesday.
“Officially today I present my candidacy (Presidency of the Republic). I believe in agreement. I am the youngest candidate”, she stated in an interview with 1080 AM.
When asked about her links with Cartes, who is one of the main leaders of the ANR, she stressed that she is independent and that she has never been a member of a political movement.
“My greatest armor is the citizenry, those who believe in my work. We are not going to buy or sell votes, that is clear. I think there will be an interesting surprise in this election, ”she highlighted.
He said that it is important to compete, because that will allow us to know where the agreement is weak.
“The Colorado Party in the internal ones already know the error and they improve for the general ones. At the end of July we will know how the board is moving, while we will be talking with all the sectors”, he commented.
Finally, he analyzed the figure of Horacio Cartes, pointing out that the concentration of power in the hands of one person is a risk for democracy.
“I did not know him before, the relationship was always professional. I have the strength of people who are tired of the system that does not work. I am a pragmatic person, I like to find solutions to problems, I do not respond to any script, I have the ability to listen. The dream I have is to make our country better”, he sentenced.
