Social movements march again to ask for a universal basic salary

The demonstrations are organized by the Darío Santillán Popular Front, the Excluded Workers Movement (MTE), the Autonomous CTA and the Nuestramérica Movement, among others.

Various social and union organizations will mobilize this Tuesday to request the “implementation of a Universal Basic Salary” (SBU) and “end poverty in the country.”

The day of protest, which will have as epicenters a traffic cut in the La Noria Bridge, in Lomas de Zamora; around the Torre de los Ingleses, in Retiro, and the port of Buenos Aires, will start at 10.

“Reality demands answers for the last men and women in line,” Dina Sánchez, deputy secretary of the Union of Workers of the Popular Economy (UTEP), told Télam.
