Sky High begins its operations to Aruba

The airline Sky High made the first commercial flight from the Dominican Republic to Aruba using the new and modern aircraft Embraer 190 of passengers.

The inaugural flight was led by the consul general, Peter Venturawho enjoyed the first trip on the aforementioned aircraft.

“The Government strongly appreciates the intention to provide a quality service for our nationals, wishing them success and blessings,” said Ventura.

The Embraer 190 aircraft has a first class section for nine people, and a total capacity for 97 passengers, according to a company press release.

On the flight, in addition to the diplomat, was present Gabriel Medina Thenexecutive vice president of Sky High, the Dominican-American businesswoman, Rosa Nuris Godet, and other airline executives.

“The Government strongly appreciates the intention to provide a quality service for our nationals, wishing them success and blessings,” said Ventura.

Sky High flies to 14 destinations, connecting the Dominican Republic, the rest of the Caribbean and Venezuela. With more than 32 flights a week to and from Las Américas International Airport, José Francisco Peña Gómez (AILA), with destinations: ArubaSt. Maarten, Curacao, Bonaire, Antigua and Barbuda, Anguilla, Tortola, Guadeloupe, Martinique, St. Kitts, Caracas, Maracaibo, Valencia, Porlamar.
