The National Government and the social organizations that are part of the single dialogue table, reached a consensus regarding the basic family basket with the regulation of 72 products, the decrease in the cost of the basic food basket would be 30% , and savings of over $80.
This Sunday afternoon, two subcommittees analyzed the Government’s proposal to reduce the 28% of the basic basket. One to agree on the number of products in the basic basket and another to speed up the drafting of agreements.

The social organizations consulted details about the proposed new products, requesting that it be specified how each of these measures will be applied and requested tax incentives for producers and the elimination of subsidies.
The government during the day reiterated its commitment to dialogue and called for lifting the force measures that affect the free movement of citizens in some parts of the country.
