Although the ruling party has strongly rejected the implementation of the Single Ballotthe opposition reached a consensus on the project, so that the majority of the commissions advance with the opinion.

The debate will take place this Tuesday from 2:00 p.m., in the Constitutional Affairs, Justice and Budget committees of the Chamber of Deputies, where several briefings on the project have already been held before.

The proposal has generated several doubts about its implementation.

The opposition needs to add 58 signatures out of the 115 that make up the plenary for the initiative to advance; Of these, 55 are guaranteed, with the representatives of Together for Change.

To the list would be added the schiarettista Ignacio García Aresca and Graciela Camaño from Buenos Aires, who have a double vote, which would be enough for the opposition to sign the opinion.

All the electoral offer will be concentrated in the same ballot.

Meanwhile, it was learned that the final text that the opposition seeks to approve would replicate the model of the Cordovan system. Representatives from Together for Change, the Federal Interblock and the United Provinces participated in said document.

What the ruling party says about the Single Ballot

In the midst of the debate, the ruling party has made it clear that it rejects the proposal of Together for Change; President Alberto Fernández has even opposed the initiative, given the complexity of its execution.

García Blanco harshly criticized the proposal.

Along these same lines, the Secretary for Political Affairs of the Ministry of the Interior, Patricia García Blanco, assured that advancing with the proposal was “reckless”, and that said proposal requires a “profound” debate.
