Sheraton Santo Domingo receives Cristal International Standards certifications

Santo Domingo. – The Sheraton Santo Domingo hotel received five certifications: Posi-Check, Aqua Check, Food-Check, Room-Check and Pool-Check, granted by the management certifier Cristal International Standards in health, safety, quality and risk control in the tourism sector.

These certifications are granted for preventing the spread of infections “Posi-Check”, for guaranteeing that the water in the facilities meets the standards “Aqua Check”, for guaranteeing food safety in the hospitality industry “Food-Check”, for measuring cleanliness of eight key surfaces within each room, ensuring that “Room-Check” hygiene standards are maintained, and for collecting all dynamic risk areas in a single module that addresses each “Pool-Check” point.

The certification was delivered to Franklin Araque interim manager of the Sheraton Santo Domingo by Persia Álvarez, director for the Caribbean region and Carlos Tempestti, commercial director for the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean of Cristal International Standards, which have been delivered for several consecutive years. thanks to the philosophy of high quality in the provision of hospitality services of the hotel.

The manager thanked “the dedication and attention to detail so that today we could receive these certifications.” At the same time, he recognized Cristal’s invaluable support during the inspections, as well as any and all recommendations for continuous improvement, Araque said.

Carlos Tempestti recognized the commitment to quality and safety of all the company’s associates, emphasizing that “this is due to constant and permanent effort and work over time.”

The leaders of the evaluated areas were recognized for their performance this year, regarding the certifications received, these were: Jonathan Quailey in the Rooms Division area; Noe Chaparro, executive chef; Fe De la Rosa, executive housekeeper; Miguel Peguero, Maintenance Manager, who together with the rest of the internal team maintain the mission and commitment to comply with the protocols and standards.
