After the arrest of the main suspect in the murder of the Carabineros corporal, David Florido, the South Metropolitan Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the arrest of two alleged accessories tohe 23-year-old man with the initials JGQ, who was captured on the Ruta Los Libertadores with the G-115, just as he was trying to escape the country.
The prosecutor in the case, Héctor Barros, confirmed these arrests. “There are three detainees, the author, plus two people who are for cover-up and one of them is actually a member of the Judiciary,” he commented.

He also added that “there is no (criminal) organization, the concealment has to do with other links, but it is not because it is an organization that operates in that way (…) the reasons why it was difficult to stop it was because of the intervention of these people ”.
For his part, the Undersecretary of the Interior, Manuel Monsalve, referred to the arrest of these two alleged accessories, stating that “obviously we also hope that if the background and the evidence allow it, they will also be sanctioned with the maximum penalties.”
The Public Ministry reported that the detainees will go to detention control during this day.
