Coronavirus: Cuba identifies 26 infections on Thursday

Cuba reported 26 infections due to the SARS-CoV-2 virus on Thursday the 16th, according to the new summary on the epidemiological situation issued by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).

17 clinical discharges were notified this day and the number of people admitted as a result of COVID-19 closed at 907, of which 97 were confirmed active cases while, for the second consecutive day, no one remained in intensive care due to this disease.

By age, the group made up of those under 20 years of age had seven patients; the same amount corresponds to the range between 20 and 39 years old, five to the group of 40 to 59 years old while seven also added those over 60.

The fatalities of COVID-19 continue to number 8,529.
