With this victory, Galo Rubro-Negro took the third position in the competition with eight points. Tricolor, on the other hand, remains in the isolated lead with 10 points, but can be overtaken by Chapecoense, Sport, Grêmio and Cruzeiro, who are still on the field for the fifth round of the competition.
Ituano’s victory was guaranteed thanks to a header by defender Bernardo, in the 23rd minute of the first half, after a corner kick.
