Playing in Porto Alegre, Grêmio ran over Tombense with a 3-0 victory and remains undefeated for 12 games. On the return of the break, Tombense had the chance to reduce the score with a poisonous shot from Everton Galdino, at five minutes, but the goalkeeper Grando was attentive and avoided. In São Luís, Sampaio Corrêa took control of the field and went ahead of Cruzmaltino in the 19th minute, with a goal from forward Gabriel Poveda, after a steal from André Luiz in midfield. At the return of the break, Igor Catatau applied with a header in the 11th minute, and then, in the 24th minute, he scored his second and the third for the Maranhão team.
