Both teams remain undefeated. Tigre, who debuted in Serie B with victory, went to four points in two games. The Lion, who came from a triumph and a draw, has a point more than the rival.
The hosts dominated the first half and took the lead in the 13th minute. The side Marcelo Hermes dominated in the middle and hit. The ball bounced and betrayed goalkeeper Mailson, who accepted the shot. The visitors’ best chance was a header by defender Sabino, in the 24th minute, which goalkeeper Gustavo stretched out to save at the angle. In the second half, Sport equalized in the seventh minute, with striker Luciano Juba, also from a distance, following a wrong exit by Gustavo.
