He recalled that the 2012 Census cost US $ 12.5 million in addition to a local contribution of US $ 10 million from the State. Brazil donated equipment worth US $ 12 million. This adds up to about $ 35 million at the time. The cost of the new Census will be US $ 7 million more expensive.
