Around 5:45 in the morning this Thursday, October 6, the Chamber of Senators approved the Rendering of Accounts and Budget Balance for Fiscal Year 2021.
The general vote on the bill took place on Monday the 3rd and was approved that same day. Then, between Tuesday the 4th and Wednesday the 5th, the legislators discussed the articles of the norm.

The discussion about the project took place in the framework of a strike called by the Teachers Association from the University of the Republic (ADUR) to which the Federation of University Students of Uruguay (FEUU) joinedwho claimed for more budget for this study center.

On the other hand, during the parliamentary discussion there were some crosses between opposition legislators and pro-government members; the two that transcended the most had as protagonist the white senator Sebastián Da Silva.
On Tuesday, argued with the front winger Charles Carrera over the poverty figures: after he accused the government of not complying “with the commitments assumed in the electoral campaign”, Da Silva accused him of being “rostrudo”.
On Wednesday, meanwhile, aimed against Sebastián Sabini for a collision around an article of the bill, referring to the eradication of the bichera fly. “I don’t need a babysitter with a dirty tail”Da Silva lashed out at one point, although he later apologized. And he said: “If we men make a mistake, we apologize”.
