The National Disaster Prevention and Response Service (Senapred) asked this Friday morning to evacuate five sectors of the Tomé commune, Biobío Region, due to a fire that is developing in the area.
Specifically, Senapred requested to evacuate the California sectors. Pesquera Camanchaca, El Salto, Veguillas, and Collen.

The Service reported this Friday morning that there are 178 forest fires throughout the country. Of them, 39 are in combat and 139 controlled. In turn, of the total, 19 are the most relevant and are concentrated in the regions of Ñuble, Biobío and La Araucanía and have affected an approximate area of 8 thousand hectares.
Let us remember that, in the face of the forest fires, the Government decreed a State of Catastrophe Exception for the Ñuble Region.
