The Minister of Productive Development, Daniel Scioli; and the governor of San Juan, Sergio Uñac; announced this Wednesday the implementation of lines of credit for a total amount of $500 million that will be allocated to micro-enterprises and enterprises in the province of Cuyo.
The act signed by the authorities establishes that The funds will be used to strengthen the tools for access to credit, which will entail the strengthening of the productive framework, the generation of quality jobs and the recovery of the economy.
With the new financing, it will also be possible to increase purchases of tools, materials and supplies.
The amount is added to the more than $ 6,400 million destined to finance 226 productive investment projects of San Juan SMEs, the productive portfolio specified in a statement.
Furthermore, within the framework of Undertake Network of San Juan, a new accompaniment was announced for 500 entrepreneurs from that province for $10 million to boost their businesses.
During a ceremony held at the Casa de San Juan in the City of Buenos Aires, Scioli assured that “The raison d’être of the Ministry of Productive Development is to be at the service of the provinces and mayors to provide local companies with the tools for development”.
He also considered “strategic the contribution of San Juan in mining matters due to the global demand for lithium, copper,” which will allow “vigorous growth and recovery of our entire economy through investment and the exports that are generated.”
For his part, Uñac said that “we are convinced that the genuine generation of work is through the private sector; Within this framework, the State must provide the tools to support the investments that guarantee this development.”
“Today San Juan has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country.this also has to do with the fact that it is one of the provinces that best executed each one of the programs that were carried out with resources from the Ministry of Productive Development of the Nation”, highlighted the president.
The meeting was also attended by the Secretary of Small and Medium Enterprises and Entrepreneurs, Guillermo Merediz; the director of Casa de San Juan in Buenos Aires, Juan Cruz Dávila Sirera; the Minister of Production and Economic Development of San Juan, Ariel Lucero; and the Minister of Government of San Juan, Alberto Hensel.
